About the Book
『Records of the Grand Historian』 (Shiji) by Sima Qian is a monumental historical text chronicling China’s history from ancient times to the early Han Dynasty. About the Author

He endured severe punishment, including castration, for defending a disgraced general but remained committed to completing his work.
